Smart Commute NTV recognizes that for employers to develop successful trip reduction programs, they must be supported by services and policies from government that make alternative forms of transportation feasible in their area. Smart Commute NTV provides input to municipal, provincial, and federal governments on policy and infrastructure improvements that will forward the goal of sustainability in transportation.  We advocate for improved local infrastructure, transit-supportive development, province-wide smart-growth strategies, increased TMA assistance and national programs to encourage alternatives to driving alone. The following is a compilation of our submissions, deputations, committee involvement and other advocacy activities.
