Vaughan Mills Launches Smart Parking!
A sustainable transportation initiative.

Starting April 18, 2012, Vaughan Mills will offer 12 Smart Parking spaces conveniently located at each of the six shopping centre entrances, next to the designated accessible parking spaces throughout the property.
Visitors who travel to the centre by electric or hybrid vehicles, use a Zipcar, or are members of Carpool Zone; may utilize these preferred Smart Parking spaces.

Carpooling to Vaughan Mills

Work at Vaughan Mills? Try carpooling to save money on gas! Register on Vaughan Mill's Carpool Zone group to find your ridematch.  Smart Commute NTV works with Vaughan Mills to promote carpooling as a more sustainable way to get to the mall. Carpool Zone gives you the flexibility to find a ridematch based on your work schedule. It can even be used for one-off trips. If you are visiting the mall, even taking a family member or friend along with you is considered carpooling.

YRT/Viva: Route 12 services Vaughan Mills.  Once on bus 12, depart at the Vaughan Mills Mall Stop.

Depending on where you live, walking can be the best way to get to work: it costs nothing, has zero GHG emissions and promotes physical health. If you walk to your destination you likely identify and appreciate a different set of landmarks along your route than drivers do. 

Biking: Many of our daily trips are well within cycling distance (0-10km). Trips taken by bike save you the cost of transit, gas and parking, have zero impact on air quality, and burn calories with every pedal forward.
